PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1 Prepare phase A and heat it to 70-75°C;
2 Prepare phase B and heat it to 75-80°C;
3 Add phase B to phase A at 70-75°C and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g., Silverson, Ultra-Turrax®);
4 Cool at room temperature using a gentle stirring;
5 Add phase C to phase AB and mix;
6 Adjust the final pH with phase D (pH = 4.0 – 4.5).
