This Moisturizing CC Cream is SPF 30 (expected) and UVA/UVB balance.

The formulation features ingredients such as:

  • Geogard® Ultra which is a synergistic, patented blend comprised of gluconolactone and sodium benzoate. What makes this preservative unique is the synergy between the two ingredients, allowing for its broad spectrum efficacy; ECOCERT/COSMOS-accepted and Soil Association-approved.
  • AvoCap2 – UV filter that is placed in unbreakable and transparent microcapsules. AvoCap is an encapsulated Avobenzone. The capsules prevent leakage and incompatibilities with other UV-filters, enable dispersibility in the water phase and provide increased photo stability. No risk of skin penetration, no irritation or allergic reactions and no incompatibilities should occur.
  • Cameleon™️ Cellu Brown – Tagra’s Cameleon Caps made from Cellulose based polymer represent a new generation of color encapsulation products, opening new dimensions for formulators who are creating color effects in gels, foams, powders and o/w emulsions.

Procedure for Moisturizing CC Cream

Heat Phase A and C up to 70°C. Disperse Phase B into Phase A. Add Phase AB to Phase C and homogenize. At 35°C – 40°C, homogenize again. Adjust pH with Phase D to 5.5. Add Phase E to Phase ABCD and  homogenize. Add Phase G to Phase ABCDE. Add Phase F to Phase ABCDEG whilst mixing moderately.
