This Powder to foam with SIPERNAT® 50 S and SIPERNAT® 2200 PC has high absorbent capacity that converts liquids into powder.
The formulation features SIPERNAT® 2200 PC which is a micro-granular silica with spherical particles, low fines content and high absorption capacity. It is the eco-friendly solution for the replacement of polyethylene beads in exfoliating skin care formulations like shower gels and body cleansers. SIPERNAT® 50 S s silica with particularly high absorption capacity that enhances flowability and prolongs the shelf life of powdered substances which are liable to caking, especially those with high-fat content. It also acts as a high absorbency carrier in case particle fineness is needed in addition to high concentration.

Procedure for Powder to foam with SIPERNAT® 50 S and SIPERNAT® 2200 PC
- Prepare and uniformly mix the liquid phase
- Intermittently add liquid mixture into SIPERNAT® 50 S using a mild blender, Hobart, to make carrier
- After making carrier, blend the carrier with SIPERNAT® 2200 PC
