This Refreshing Powder Shampoo by Evonik is a dry shampoo based on Evonik`s unique “dry water” concept!
This formulation features AEROSIL® R 812 S which is a fumed silica that has many applications in hair care products. This ingredient provides a volumizing effect to styling aids, and since Dry Water contains mostly an aqueous phase by weight, the formulation also moisturizes the hair. AEROSIL® R 812 S provides effective rheology control in complex liquid systems.

Procedure for Refreshing Powder Shampoo
- Add all ingredients of phase 1 to water while stirring.
- Add all ingredients of phase 2 to the water phase and disperse with dissolver (cowls blade) or rotor stator system, if powder is generated.
