This Shimmering Body Oil Gel with AEROSIL® R 805 is a cold processable oil gel that provides an excellent skin feel upon application.

AEROSIL® R 805 is a highly hydrophobic treated fumed silica that is efficient in the thickening and thixotropy of polar emollients and natural triglycerides. This ingredient also aids in the stability and anti settling of particles in liquid formulations.

Procedure for Shimmering Body Oil Gel with AEROSIL® R 805

  1. Add AEROSIL® R 805 into the oil phase
  2. After complete wetting of the silica homogenize at high speed
  3. Add phase 2 to phase 1 while stirring with moderate speed
