Bio-Saponins: The Natural Surface Active Agent

Bio-Saponins is a natural detergent, foaming agent and emulsifier. Saponins are naturally occurring, high molecular weight glycosides that act as high foaming agents, and are excellent for use when natural surface-active compounds are needed. Bio-Saponins provides advantages on a diverse range of Beauty Care applications.

Saponins are found in many plants, but get their name from the soapwort plant (saponaria). The root of this plant was historically used as a soap. The name saponin is derived from the Latin word sapo, which means soap.
