Besides its scrubbing effect, SIPERNAT® 22 PC microsponge structure can also transport liquid ingredients into the cosmetic formulation. Specialty Silica is fine, loose powders that are also available in granule form for specific applications. The particles are amorphous, posing no risk in their application. The chemical composition of performance silica is approximately 99 percent silicon dioxide (SiO2).
