A sulfate-free formula thanks to Miracare Soft S-525 MB, a surfactant concentrate that delivers strong foam, quick rinse, and mildness. Procedure:
- Add DI water and start to form a vortex in beaker.
- In a side-phase, pre-mix Glycerin with HEC into a slurry and slowly add it into main phase. Allow it to mix well.
- Slowly add Jaguar Excel and allow to mix well for 10 minutes to ensure proper hydration.
- Slowly add Polycare Frizz Therapy and Jaguar HP 105 and allow to fully hydrate.
- Add Citric Acid and check pH of batch and see if it is between 3.5 – 5.0.
- Once all powders are fully hydrated, start to heat batch to 75 – 80C.
- Slow down mixing speed and while batch is heating, add Coco Glucoside, Coco Betaine, Miracare Soft 525, and then Miracare OPR-2. Allow to mix well after each addition.
- Allow batch to fully reach 75 – 80C and allow to mix well for 10 minutes. Then, start to cool batch.
- At 50C, add Healthy Shine Lilac and the preservative and allow it to mix well. Adjust mixing speed as necessary to reduce aeration.
- Once homogeneous, stop batch and adjust pH to reach 5.00 – 5.50.
