Description

Cetiol V is a traditional, medium-spreading emollient for modern cosmetic applications. Cetiol V is a clear, slightly yellowish polar oil, with a characteristic odor, a mean molecular weight, and a spreading value of approx. 700 mm2 /10 min. This product has a cloud point of < 5°C, a refractive index (20°C) of 1.4555 – 1.4575, and an iodine number of 55-65. Through the addition of mixed tocopherols, the Cetiol V is protected from autoxidation. Depending on the storage temperature, the peroxide value may increase. The product quality is not impaired as long as the peroxide value remains below 8.0.
